Mais qu’est-ce que c’est ? 🤔
L’épamprage consiste à retirer les petites pousses qui ne donneront pas de raisin. Cela permet à la vigne de mieux respirer et de concentrer son énergie sur les grappes à venir.
Un geste discret, mais essentiel pour préparer un grand vin !

Right now at Château Dauzac, our teams are busy with an important task: debudding.

But what exactly is it? 🤔
Debudding consists of removing small shoots that will not produce grapes.
This allows the vine to breathe better and concentrate its energy on future bunches.

En 1924, Château Dauzac devient le premier Grand Cru Classé à embouteiller son vin à la propriété, sous l’impulsion de Nathaniel Johnston.
