{"id":1658,"date":"2023-10-04T14:21:39","date_gmt":"2023-10-04T12:21:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.chateaudauzac.com\/essai-vin-coeur-un-projet-pour-developper-lagroforesterie\/"},"modified":"2024-05-22T15:10:28","modified_gmt":"2024-05-22T13:10:28","slug":"essai-vin-coeur-a-project-to-develop-agroforestery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chateaudauzac.com\/en\/essai-vin-coeur-a-project-to-develop-agroforestery\/","title":{"rendered":"Essai Vin Coeur: a project to develop agroforestery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The \u201cEssai Vin Coeur\u201d project was created with the aim of developing agroforestry in the Bordeaux vineyards in a fun and educational way.<\/p>\n<h2>Agroforestry is the simple idea of associating trees with agriculture (animal or vegetable), with the aim of deriving numerous benefits from this union:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bringing trees and vines together<\/li>\n<li>Drawing water from deep in the soil for plants above ground<\/li>\n<li>Helping to structure wine-growing soils<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging biodiversity and vine resistance to various hazards<\/li>\n<li>Store carbon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For Essai Vin C\u0153ur, agroforestry is the solution for achieving the main objectives sought through the creation of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The concept is both virtuous and innovative: for every point scored at home by Union Bordeaux B\u00e8gles, the Girondins rugby club, 10 trees will be planted in the Bordeaux vineyards!<\/p>\n<p>The counter has been running since the beginning of 2023: the 188 points scored by the UBB at home have already made it possible to plan the planting of 1,880 trees!<\/p>\n<p>Ch\u00e2teau Dauzac was one of the properties selected to host the planting of around a hundred trees in the form of a hedge. To ensure the quality of the planting and the achievement of the agroforestry objectives, Essai Vin Coeur is calling on the services of Arbres et Paysages en Gironde.
